What happens when you hire us for your project?

Lots of things, broken down into five steps that takes you from understanding what you need to how you can use the research to make a difference.

1. Discover

What's the problem?

We need to understand what you want. What you really, really want. We’ll challenge the brief. Discuss your hypotheses. Get to know the key issues. It’s important that the research delivers for you.

2. Design

How do we do it?

We’ll put our research expertise to work on the methods and questions. It usually involves some co-design, getting your feedback as we go and running sessions with key stakeholders to engage them in the research. We’ll pilot what we come up with until we're all happy.

3. Engage

How do we reach people?

This is where we use our mix of quantitative and qualitative research skills. Online surveys. Fieldwork. Desk research. Online communities. Depth interviews. Focus groups. Take your pick. Sometimes we even bring the two together and run workshops using live survey data.

4. Understand

What are we seeing?

You’ll get a sneak peek of early data and findings. And you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in the analysis. Whether that’s a discussion about emerging themes or a full-blown co-analysis session. Then it’s up to us to go away and get the most from your research.

5. Explain

What's the story?

Expect our reports to be challenging, honest, visual and interactive. Don’t expect any unnecessary or complicated words. We'll get to the point. Any project ends with us explaining what it all means and what can be done, usually as a presentation or feedback session.

It's a pleasure to work with Adam and Emma. Their approach is professional, pragmatic and impartial. I would highly recommend PS Research for honest and friendly support you can rely on.
